— ABOUT SHIVANI

A dietitian who listens first, and prescribes second.

Fifteen years of clinical practice have taught me that nutrition rarely works when it is reduced to calories, charts, or isolated symptoms. The body responds to patterns context, timing, stress, sleep, food quality, and consistency.

One pattern has remained consistent across every person I have worked with: lasting change becomes possible when people understand the signals their body is giving them, and learn how to respond with clarity and consistency.

01 The Beginning

Where It Began

My work in nutrition began in clinical settings, where I supported patients with complex therapeutic nutrition needs, including oncology nutrition, in-patient diet planning, and nutritional support for immune-compromised individuals.
Those early experiences gave me a strong clinical foundation, but they also taught me something that has stayed with me throughout my career: health is rarely as simple as treating one symptom at a time.

I do not see the body as a collection of symptoms to manage.
I see it as a system to understand.

02 Fifteen Years

Over the Years

Over the years, I have worked with hundreds of individuals across life stages from babies and children to adolescents, adults, and seniors. Their concerns have included digestive and hormonal issues, metabolic health, weight challenges, fatigue, and lifestyle concerns. I have supported clients from India’s pharmaceutical, food, and healthcare sectors, where energy, cognitive performance, and health matter. Through this experience, I have learned that what works for one person may not work for another because each person’s life, needs, and circumstances differ.

The same dietary principle does not produce the same outcome in every person.
Biology is individual. Life context is individual.

03 Outside the Clinic

Learning Through Life, Too

My understanding of nutrition comes not only from books, research, or the consultation room, but also from being a working mother. Every day, I experience the gap between knowing what is ideal and making it work in real life. Balancing work, raising a child, family responsibilities, changing schedules, school routines, travel, celebrations, and everyday demands has taught me that health rarely happens under perfect conditions. Each day brings new lessons, reminding me that advice matters only when it can fit realistically into everyday living.

Health does not happen in a laboratory. It has to work in real life.

04 Expanding

Growing Beyond the Consultation Room

Over time, my work grew beyond one-to-one consultations. I began writing and developing resources on nutrition and everyday health, making evidence-based information easier to understand and relevant to real life. This journey has extended into books, guides, wellness education, workshops, and wider conversations around food and health. I am also building IntuiWell with Vallabh Chitnis, Co-Founder of IntuiWell. Together, we are bringing nutrition and mindset into the same conversation, while exploring a more integrated, practical, and meaningful approach to well-being.

Making nutrition practical has always been at the heart of my work.

Biology is individual. Life context is individual.
